One of the oldest and proudest cultures in Colombia is the culture of the “Arriero.” The Arriero is the cowboy and trader of the coffee-growing region, a hardworking man passionate about horses. The development of the country’s interior was made possible by the adventurous and industrious spirit of these brave men, who, through pack trains or groups of horses and mules, colonized the most remote corners of Colombia’s complex topography.

And that’s exactly where Paul, your riding guide, is taking you to; to the Northeastern State of Alagoas, where you will canter the endless beaches still untouched by civilization. From day one, you will understand why the ride is called The Coconut Trail Ride. Alagoas is in fact the greatest producer of coconuts in the country. From the saddle, you will drink fresh coconut water and discover some of the most beautiful tropical places you have ever been.

Visiting Andalusia in Spain, with its fairs and pilgrimages, is a guarantee of satisfaction for horse lovers. The Horse Fair of Jerez is one of the oldest in Spain and undoubtedly one of the most important in the world. Devoted as it is “to the horse,” competitions such as “dressage and harness,” among many others, are held, making it the largest popular festival of its kind. Visiting the fair is simply having a “great time,” in the company of good friends and enjoying an environment where the host is undoubtedly “The Horse,” where you can daily enjoy the presence of “hundreds of beautiful horses” and elegant riders and carriages.
